I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences, the University of Toronto under the supervision of Professor Mathew Wells.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics and Physical Oceanography at the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Institute, the Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, USA. I was supervised by Professor Doron Nof.

My interest in study of Geophysical Fluid Dynamics and Physical Oceanography dates back to my years in college where I studied Earth Resources Engineering, minor in Ocean Resources ( B.Sc. Hons) at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

My current research interests are Physical Limnology, Lake Modeling, Physical Oceanography, Climate, and Fluid Dynamics
